Jerry Markow
Divisional President

Upon graduation from Northeastern University with a degree in Business and Marketing in 1979, Jerry started his professional career as an account manager for a major office furniture dealer. In 1989, after a successful decade-long career in the office furniture industry, Jerry was recruited as sales manager for one of the country’s largest private moving companies. Soon after, he was appointed General Manager. In 1994, Jerry along with his partner, Mike Norton, established the new Sterling Movers Office Services Division. Together, by providing consistent quality of service, Jerry and Mike grew the Sterling Office Services Division into the largest, most respected commercial mover in New England.

Jerry is well respected within the industry for his ability to successfully manage a project from its early planning  and conceptual phase, through careful implementation, into a well thought out strategy, and finally the project’s  completion. The true testament to his talents are his many long-term client relationships.

 

Mike Norton
Divisional Vice-President

Mike started his career in the moving industry in 1985 when he began working as a salesman for one of the country’s largest private moving companies.  In 1994 Mike and Jerry Markow joined forces to create Sterling Movers Office Services Division.  Their goal was to create New England’s very best, full service office and industrial moving company.

Mike has built a reputation as the “go to” person for large, complicated projects.  His knowledge, experience and attention to detail have helped him to successfully complete many of the largest relocation projects in New England.
